Melinda Russell, Director

Melinda is a medically retired Army Chaplain.  During her 15 month tour in Iraq she developed PTSD.  Her love of horses, soldiers, and helping people lead to the creation of Hope and Healing Ranch.  She is an ordained Lutheran pastor and is currently working toward earning her PhD in Counseling.

Luis Mares, Business Coordinator

Luis is a business man who has worked in the manufactoring industry for more than 20 years throughout the world.  He is the coordinator for business affairs and fundraising for Hope & Healing Horse Therapy Ranch.

Jessica Russell, Assistant Horse Handler

Riding since the age of 5, Jessica has the proven ability to handle horses.  She is helping to train her own horse, Shadow, a 2 year old Paint.  In addition, her living with a parent with PTSD helps her understand the pain its symptoms cause a family.

Victoria Munive, volunteer

While in college, Victoria participated in the Equine team and has since joined our program as a volunteer helping to work with the horses each and as a walk-along for participants.  Her love for horses is palpable.

David Perez, volunteer

David has been around horses much of his life, but recently has desired to move his professional life in a new direction and began volunteering with Hope & Healing Ranch as a walk-along and leader for participants.
